Sexual Liberationism, or Sex-Positivity is an ideology based on the sex-positive movement and the sexual revolution. It supports sex-positive feminism, lgbt rights, acceptance of all sexual practices and all-around sexual liberation.
History
Sexual Liberationism began in the Roaring Twenties. So-called "flapper girls" frequented speakeasies and dressed much more promiscuously than traditionalist women.
During the civil rights era, women gained the rights for abortion and anti-pregnancy pills. Some people also supported LGBT rights.
In the modern era, the LGBT community is widely accepted by many, and is considered by progressives to be good for mental health.
